New EDS Program to Begin in VirginiaUVA Health, an integrated health system and academic medical center in Virginia, will be starting a program for patients with EDS, other hypermobility
disorders, and other connective tissue disorders in the Fontaine Research Park in Charlottesville, VA. Expected in late 2025 or early 2026, the program aims to coordinate care for patients who live within a few hours of Charlottesville. For patients who live further away, the program plans to
partner with local providers to offer guidance, care plans, and support. The UVA Health press release from June 2025 offers more details about the newest addition to the 15 EDS treatment programs in
the US (18 worldwide).
